The DGA director and co-founder of Summer House Pictures gears up for a massive slate of television and streaming releases.

Award-winning DGA director, writer, and producer LazRael Lison is rapidly

cementing his status as one of independent cinema’s most versatile creative forces. Following its successful premiere on Lifetime, his latest feature film, Finding Faith, starring Paula Patton, Loretta Devine, and Keith David, has officially expanded to Hulu, introducing the inspiring drama to an even broader streaming audience.

With 10 feature films to his credit, Lison has built a career defined by his ability to seamlessly move between television, streaming, and independent film. His growing portfolio includes six studio-backed productions released through Lifetime and BET, with projects also available on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, Paramount+, Tubi, and Hulu.

His recent body of work includes Style Me for Christmas (2024), starring Raven Goodwin, Mario, Pretty Vee, and Sincerely Ward; Christmas Angel (2023), starring DaniLeigh, Romeo Miller, and Tamar Braxton; and A Miracle Before Christmas (2022), starring LeToya Luckett, Romeo Miller, Keith David, and Paula Jai Parker. Together, these projects underscore Lison’s ability to collaborate with acclaimed talent while delivering compelling stories for television and streaming audiences.

The company’s development slate spans faith-based dramas, romance, holiday programming, and high-stakes thrillers, producing original films for television and leading streaming platforms.

Lison’s storytelling has also been showcased through the acclaimed drama Never and Again, starring Denise Boutte and Jackie Long, which premiered on BET before continuing its success on Paramount+ and other streaming platforms.

What’s Next

Building on his current momentum, Lison is developing multiple new projects through Summer House Pictures, including A Mother’s Love and a sequel to Never and Again.
