Unexpected match-ups have a way of sticking with us. Today, we’re revisiting the collaborations that surprised us and somehow became instant favorites, presented by Cheetos.

Tetris Kelly: Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga’s unexpected collab, “Die With a Smile” became an inescapable Hot 100 hit, so much so that Gaga brought it to the Super Bowl. And some of our favorite surprises come from country and hip-hop, like this classic.

Tetris Kelly: And from Nelly to BigXthaPlug, the pairings don’t stop. How was it working with Bailey, man? The song is great, but what was the vibe like?
BigXthaPlug: It was a it was a little different, because it was a song that I had been had made, but it was easy process. It’s an easy guy to work with. Video. Everything went smooth. I mean, it was just really fun.
Tetris Kelly: And to bring it back to a Super Bowl smash, we love Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg’s “California Gurls.”
