A police corporal has been suspended from active duty and charged with stealing money from a man d uring a search at Lynden Pindling International Airport.
Theophilus Cayard appeared before Acting Assistant Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville and denied the charge of stealing from a person.
According to court allegations, the incident occurred during a search on 9 May. The complainant reportedly discovered $2,400 missing after being released.
The matter has been formally arraigned, and court proceedings are ongoing.
