Tamis Modeste is the new Soufrière Carnival Queen—and she earned it in emphatic fashion.

Representing Saint Lucia Daily Post, Modeste capped off an outstanding night at the Soufrière Mini Stadium after capturing not just the Soufrière Carnival Queen 2026 title, but several of the pageant’s most coveted awards. Her dominant showing across the competition’s key segments made her the queen to beat.

Modeste claimed Best Interview, Best Eveningwear, Best in Eveningwear, Best in Costume, Miss Photogenic, and the People’s Choice Award. Her consistency throughout the competition resonated with both the judges and the audience.

The contest, however, was far from one-sided. Representing B&B Money Savers, Lovely Son delivered an exceptional performance of her own, securing Best Ambassadorial Speech, Best Swimwear, Best Talent, and Best Costume. Her impressive showing earned her the title of first runner-up after a closely contested evening.

Triana Busette, representing Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, secured the second runner-up position following a confident performance throughout the competition.
