Raff Military Textile, a global manufacturer of military and security apparel, has announced its participation in the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) trade mission scheduled to take place in Kampala.
The high-profile business delegation is expected in Uganda from July 21 to 25, 2026, as part of efforts to deepen commercial ties and expand investment opportunities across Africa.
Raff chief executive officer Eray Yükseloğlu said the company will hold a series of high-level bilateral meetings aimed at exploring new business opportunities, establishing sustainable local partnerships and laying the groundwork for long-term investments in the region.
The company currently maintains operations and supply contracts in more than 60 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Latin America.
As part of the trade mission, Raff will showcase its Raff Elite product line to local defence and security stakeholders, highlighting innovations in military uniform technology designed to enhance protection, comfort and durability in demanding operational environments.
Speaking ahead of the visit, Yükseloğlu described Uganda as a strategically important market within Africa’s evolving economic landscape.
“Uganda is one of the region’s most dynamic and fast-growing economies, and it is positioned to play a vital role as a strategic bridge for trade between Africa and Türkiye. This trade delegation represents a massive opportunity for both nations, and it is only the beginning of a deeper journey,” Yükseloğlu said.
“We view our upcoming engagements in Kampala not just as a standard business trip, but as a promising, future-oriented investment that will build lasting bilateral cooperation, economic success, and mutual trust.”
The planned engagement reflects growing trade and investment relations between Türkiye and Uganda, with both countries seeking to strengthen cooperation in manufacturing, defence, infrastructure and industrial development.
