Development projects, large and small, across Brixton and Lambeth require planning permission.
The planning process is a chance for residents to have a say on what they like or dislike about proposed changes to the built environment.
Brixton Society is running a workshop on Tuesday 2 June to help people respond to planning applications, from large towers to individual house extensions.
They will be giving a few pointers on how to object, or even support, local proposals.
The session will also cover how residents can have a say in shaping planning policies which steer planning decisions.
