Bank of Saint Lucia Limited (BOSL) is inviting all eligible merchants to take advantage of the officially launched Tap to Phone feature, which allows smartphones to function as payment terminals.

Tap to Phone is a payment solution that gives merchants the ability to accept secure, contactless card payments directly on their Android smartphones, without the need for additional hardware. Merchants operating from storefronts, pop-up locations, or on the move can use the feature.
“This solution removes the need for additional equipment while delivering a secure, professional and flexible payment experience that supports business growth,” said BOSL Card Services Manager Tarbula Aimable–Amedee.
BOSL said onboarding support will be provided to help merchants get started.
According to the bank, “Tap to Phone delivers a seamless, cashless experience that meets the evolving expectations of customers while removing traditional barriers to digital payments.”
For additional information, merchants are encouraged to get in touch with the bank.
