Child critical, woman stable after traffic collision

A road traffic collision in Corinth on January 23 has left a 33-year-old woman and a minor hospitalised after they were reportedly struck by an oncoming vehicle while attempting to cross the roadway.

Emergency responders who arrived on the scene found both individuals lying on the road. An initial assessment revealed that each had sustained multiple injuries about their bodies. They were treated at the scene before being transported to the OKEU Hospital for further medical care.

In the days following the incident, police confirmed that the adult woman is listed in stable condition, while the child remains in critical condition.
