The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) says it has finalised its election manifesto ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections.
The party is currently holding its 6th Central Command Team meeting of the 3rd National People’s Assembly in Johannesburg.
The EFF’s leadership has spent the past two days discussing and finalising election strategies ahead of the November polls.
The party says its election manifesto will be officially launched in July.
EFF Deputy President Godrich Gardee says increasing voter registration and encouraging voter participation will be central to the party’s election campaign.
Gardee says, “Well, today, here we’re finalising the election manifesto. Yesterday, we had a central election task force meeting and amongst other issues was upscaling the drive to get the missing 15 million people to be registered to vote.”
The EFF says it will intensify efforts to mobilise eligible voters as part of its preparations for the upcoming local government elections. The party believes voter registration and turnout will play a significant role in determining the outcome of the November polls.
