By Zoila Palma: On June 16, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade participated in the Public Service Information Day as part of the activities marking Public Service Week 2026.
Officers from the Ministry’s Protocol, Foreign Policy, and Foreign Trade divisions were on hand to engage with the public and share information about the Ministry’s work in advancing Belize’s interests at the bilateral, regional, and international levels.
Their theme focused on “Diplomacy and Trade as drivers for Belizean prosperity.”
The theme highlights how Belize’s foreign relations and trade partnerships contribute to economic growth, sustainable development, and opportunities for Belizeans.
Oscar Arnold, Chief Executive Officer for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade stopped by the booth to meet with staff and members of the public during the event.
The Ministry says that this provided an opportunity to showcase the important work of the public service and its contribution to national development and prosperity.
