Peacock’s ‘The Miniature Wife’ – O-T Fagbenle, Zoe Lister-Jones & Sofia Rosinsky Break It Down

*If your marriage is hanging by a thread, the last thing you need is your husband accidentally shrinking you. But here we are.

Peacock’s “The Miniature Wife” drops Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen into exactly that chaos, playing Lindy and Les Littlejohn — a long-married couple already on thin ice before Les’ experiment sends their home life completely sideways. Based on Manuel Gonzales’ short story, the series is streaming now.

The setup is absurd. The execution is sharp. Lindy is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author stuck in a creative drought. Les is a scientist chasing a breakthrough that is equal parts genius and disaster. And the world around them is populated with people who each have their own angle, their own agenda, and their own mess to manage.

EUR spoke with O-T Fagbenle, Zoe Lister-Jones, and Sofia Rosinsky to discuss their roles in the series.

Rosinsky plays Lulu, the Littlejohns’ college-aged daughter who returns home only to find that “home” has gotten considerably stranger.

“I enjoyed exploring this person who’s feeling very lost in the world,” Rosinsky said, summing up the entire Littlejohn family dynamic in one sentence:

“It’s kind of like a sort of board game of emotions, if Monopoly was how their family dynamic works.”

Fagbenle plays RPW — Les’ employee, Lindy’s emotional affair partner, and a walking complication.

“I have quite big emotions, and so does RPW,” Fagbenle said. “And I feel like I related to that part of it — and then just being allowed to kind of just express it in a completely outward way.”

Then there is Vivienne.

“I’ll own my ambition,” she said. “Vivienne’s very ambitious, and I relate to that.”

“She knows what she wants, and she goes after it. I think Vivienne believes she’s in control, and then is sorely mistaken and heartbroken,” Lister-Jones said.

“Lulu feels completely out of control in her family, and actually in her personal life too, outside of the house,” Rosinsky said.

“He desperately wants some level of control, but he is at the mercy of both his desire and the object of his desire,” Fagbenle said.

Control. The illusion of it, paired with a crazy scenario.

The Miniature Wife is now streaming on Peacock.
