Eswatini-born artist Sarnilo kicks off 2026 with her deeply introspective new single “Bayabika” — a SiSwati-infused blend of Afrosoul and neo-soul R&B that explores the quiet power of intuition in love and relationships.
Sitting in the emotional space between certainty and doubt, the song captures that delicate limbo of sensing a shift in a relationship long before it becomes visible, and wrestling with whether it’s better to hold on to “the devil you know.”
Produced by Cape Town-based SAMA award-winning producer Salie Sousa, “Bayabika” marks a refined and emotionally mature return for Sarnilo. Delivered predominantly in SiSwati, the track sees her fully embracing her linguistic and cultural identity, allowing the depth of her mother tongue to carry the song’s emotional weight with raw authenticity.
