Yet more Coldharbour Lane congestion as Thames Water roadworks introduces single lane traffic

Coldharbour Lane seems to be in a never ending cycle of roadworks, and this time it’s the universally hated Thames Water responsible for creating backlogs along the road.

The section between the Atlantic Road and Valentia Place junctions has been reduced to one lane, with a sign saying that they expect to finish their ‘improvements’ by the 24th March 2026.

Checking London’s register of roadworks, it says that the works are being done because of an ” ACTIVE LEAK- MAINS CLAMP IN CARRIAGEWAY.”
