Entlaq and ED Ventures Partner to Map Egypt’s EdTech Sector

Entlaq  and ED Ventures  have partnered to support Egypt’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and promote innovation in the education technology (EdTech) sector.

The collaboration, announced during the fourth edition of the Egyptian Entrepreneurship Sector Annual Report Summit (SDR 2026) in El Gouna, will focus on developing a specialised report examining the current state of Egypt’s EdTech sector, including its key challenges, growth opportunities and potential contribution to economic development and human capital.

The report will provide a broader view of the sector by analysing challenges facing EdTech companies and identifying opportunities for expansion and investment. It will also offer data-driven insights into changes across the sector and highlight areas with potential for future growth.

Entlaq and ED Ventures said the partnership will also support startups operating in the education sector by strengthening their ability to develop innovative solutions and create sustainable impact. The initiative aims to expand the use of technology in education while helping startups respond to changing needs within the sector.

Reliable data and market insights will form a key part of the collaboration, providing entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers with information to better understand market developments, identify opportunities and direct investment towards areas with economic and developmental potential.

The partnership was announced on the sidelines of SDR 2026, which took place in El Gouna from September 10 to 12 under the theme “Data × Innovation: Reimagining Egypt’s Entrepreneurship Landscape.” The summit brought together stakeholders to discuss startups, investment, technology and other high-potential sectors within Egypt’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
