GRENADA-Grenada to launch WISTLE project.

ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada, CMC – Grenada will on Friday launch the Windward Islands Sector Transformation for Learning Enhancement (WISTLE) Project, aimed at improving the efficiency of education systems in the.

The project is a regional education transformation initiative involving Grenada, Dominica, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It is being financed through grants from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and administered through the World Bank.

The Ministry of Education here said that Grenada has been allocated approximately US$2.4 million under the initiative, whose overall development objective is to enhance teacher pedagogical practices at the secondary level and implement enhanced lower secondary curricula.

“Grenada’s component of the project is: ‘Enhanced Lower-Secondary Curriculum and Assessment Strategy in Grenada,” the ministry said, adding that the project also seeks to improve the quality and relevance of education delivery in Grenada while preparing.
