In the latest episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” Mendeecees and Yandy clash during Scrappy’s camping trip. Here are the highlights for “Unhappy Campers.”
Yandy apologizes to Mendeecees.
Mendeecees’ mom, Judy, talks to her son and Yandy about the state of their relationship. Recently, Mendeecees moved out, and it hasn’t been an easy adjustment for them.
Yandy apologizes to Mendeecees for having what she labels as an “emotional affair.” In a confessional, Mendeecees says that is all he has been wanting from her.
Ashley and Yandy clash.
Kendra attempts to mediate between Ashley and Yandy. Yandy confronts Ashley for speaking on her and Mendeecees’ relationship during the cast trip to Puerto Rico. Ashley defends her actions and says she was only speaking about what she saw on the blogs. In response, Yandy calls Ashley and Lil Zane dumb for minding other people’s business.
Momma Dee attempts to convince Zane’s mother, Linette, to talk things out with Ashley. But Linette doesn’t want to deal with Ashley because she suspects that Ashley talked Zane out of seeing if his kidney is a match for his brother.
Yandy is frustrated with Mendeecees.
When Mendeecees tries to talk to Yandy after her argument with Ashley, they bump heads. Yandy doesn’t like that Mendeecees had Ashley thinking she didn’t hold him down while he was locked up. In a confessional, Yandy says Mendeecees doesn’t get to rewrite what she did for him, and she doesn’t like that he doesn’t want to give her the credit she deserves.
Mendeecees is tired of people saying that Yandy held him down.
When Lil Zane asks Mendeecees why he gets triggered when people say Yandy held him down while he was in prison, Mendeecees says he doesn’t think this should be held over his head.
In his green screen interview, Mendeecees says it’s as if people think he should be a slave to someone who “answered the phone” for him.
Yandy and Ashley make peace.
Kendra is finally able to get Yandy and Ashley to hash things out. Ashley apologizes and clarifies that she was annoyed by Mendeecees not giving Yandy her credit for all she’s done for him over the years. In a confessional, Yandy says Mendeecees has been trying to rewrite their history since their breakup, and it isn’t cool.
Back in real time, Yandy accepts Ashley’s apology, and they hug.
Lil Zane breaks down.
Ashley talks to Linette about the fundraiser she’s doing for Zane’s brother as they search for a kidney. She wants to help. Linette tells Ashley she didn’t want her to participate because they weren’t in a good space.
After Linette breaks down in tears, Lil Zane also becomes emotional. He’s upset with himself for allowing his fear of doctors to stop him from getting tested to see if his kidney is a match. Scrappy consoles him and tells him that he can find another way to help his brother.
Yandy and Mendeecees get into it.
Scrappy’s camping trip continues to go left. Mendeecees tells Yandy that he wants to speak to her privately. When they are alone, he makes a joke about them being friends. Yandy is already over it before the conversation begins.
Mendeecees accuses Yandy of always “choosing violence” when they interact. Yandy disagrees and says the issue is that Mendeecees keeps pointing the finger at her when someone else calls him out about something.
When Mendeecees says he just wants to be able to communicate with Yandy in a peaceful and healthy way, she agrees. She gets up to leave after Mendeecees asks her if she’s going to New York.
In a green screen interview, Mendeecees tells producers that Yandy has been seeing a man in New York.
After he follows Yandy into the nearby trailer, they argue away from the camera. Mendeecees raises his voice and accuses Yandy of always acting like she was single despite being with him. He threatens to expose her on TV.
