Maputo (MOZTIMES) - A Mozambican government delegation, headed by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Maria de Fatima Manso, concluded a working visit to South Africa on Tuesday which led to understandings with the South African authorities to increase assistance to Mozambican citizens affected by the current wave of mob violence against foreigners living in South Africa.
According to a release from the government press office (Gabinfo), the delegation held meetings with the South African authorities, with representatives of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), community leaders and officials from the Mozambican diplomatic offices in South Africa.
