THE Conservative Party of BC announced on Tuesday that a record 42,000 members across the province have met the deadline to participate in the party’s leadership race, should they pass secondary verification.
“Our party has come incredibly far in just a few years,” said Executive Director Angelo Isidorou. “When the Conservative Party of BC was revived, we only had a few hundred members. By December 2025, we had around 7,000. Now, we are the largest political party in British Columbia. Our party is powered by ordinary British Columbians who want change.”
In addition to the new memberships, the party is confirming that all five leadership contestants have met the $60,000 fee to remain in the race. Barring any future infractions, all five candidates will be on the ballot for the leadership election: MLA Peter Milobar, entrepreneur and philanthropist Yuri Fulmer, commentator Caroline Elliott, former B.C. Liberal cabinet minister Iain Black and former Conservative MP Kerry-Lynne Findlay.
