On behalf of the Council and the people of Belize City, Mayor Bernard Wagner welcomed the visitors and celebrated the enduring friendship between Belize and Taiwan, a relationship grounded in mutual respect, shared democratic values, and a common commitment to building better lives for our people.
The Mayor highlighted the importance of turning that friendship into practical opportunities, creating pathways for young people. He also encouraged members of the visiting business delegation to connect with Belizean business leaders, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities to work together.
“Belize City welcomes partnerships that bring investment, share knowledge, develop skills, and create meaningful opportunities for both countries. We thank Minister Lin and the visiting delegation for joining us and for strengthening the spirit of friendship and possibility between Belize and Taiwan,” the Belize City Council said.
