Pregnant lady murdered by lover; her body pulled out of septic tank behind drinking pub in Arusha

The body of a lady identified as Husna Shaaban, who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend was recently fished out of a manhole in Arusha.
The 33-years-old Husna, is believed to have met her death at a drinking pub known as Shisha Village Bar located at the Mbauda Junction in Majengo area of Arusha City.
Reports have that Husna, who is also said to have been pregnant, could have been killed on any of the weekend days of between Saturday, the 13th and 15th of June 2026.
Her family say Husna went missing from the previous Friday, when the lady left home saying she was going to the pub she frequently patronizes.
It seems the deceased was involved in a love affair with one Lameck Jonathan Mlay (30), three years her junior, who works as a cleaner at the Shisha Village.
Shisha Village is a beer pot meeting place, frequented by twilight ladies, drunkards and hookers. The facility also happens to have some back rooms for hire, in case the patrons wanted to spend the night there.
The Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SACP) Justine Masejo, confirmed the incident, adding that one suspect is being held in connection with the lady’s death.

It took video footages from the installed CCTV Cameras at the pub, to reveal exactly what transpired during the fateful morning.
Husna, apparently, was killed during the brawl with her boyfriend who was seen concealing her body into a heaped pile of fabric, mostly used beddings waiting to be washed.
And when the coast was clear, the boyfriend dragged Husna into a man hole and pushed her body in head first.
But it is not known if the lady died during the fight or had just fainted and probably died when dropped into the septic tank.
Felix Stambuli, the owner and manager of Shisha Village said they were aware that Lameck, one of his staff members, was involved in a love affair with the late Husna.
He said after the death, Lameck went to ask for advice from friends who work at a nearby garage, regarding how to hide the body of the dead lady.
But his friends later reported the matter to the Shisha Village manager, who checked the cameras which showed the suspect dragging the body into a septic tank, removed a cover and pushed her in.
Lameck had earlier on claimed that Husna was forcibly demanding money from him after their night in the room.
He is not sure if the baby who was in the deceased’s womb was his and was unaware that the incident took the lives of both the mother and her unborn child.
