With group positioning the only thing at stake, France claimed bragging rights with a 4-1 win over Norway. A first-half hat-trick from Dembele proved to be the defining moment, setting the tone and deciding the game before the break.
France looked in full control throughout. Captain Mbappe came close to adding his name to the scoresheet but rattled the bar with a ferocious strike. Norway struggled to cope with the French attack. They did pull one back and missed a penalty, but it was not enough to trouble a dominant France side.
